Iridescence secures Distribution with CFMDC

Vancouver, BC - Iridescence, a short film that was created during the final projects in Vancouver Film School got picked up for distribution.

Iridescence is an experimental visual short film, which exposes how society needs to label a person by their sexuality. In this story, dance and interpretive movement replaces the dialogue, allowing us to use the body to communicate the relationship between the characters and they’re true human emotions. Through stylize lighting and abstract visual, Iridescence tells the story of an emotionally repressed abusive father and his son who struggles to accept himself and his sexuality.

After one year and ten months of film festival run, this film garnered official selections, category nominations, recognition and stunning reviews. As it continues its film festival run under the Canadian Filmmakers Distribution Center (CFMDC), the entire team of Iridescence can't wait to see how much further this film will go.
