Aimer Films Inc. is a Vancouver-based company that develops, produces, post-produces and digitally distributes content. Aimer Films was the service producers behind the Aga Muhlach and Bea Alonzo Filipino movie that screened worldwide, FIRST LOVE. They are also known for their work that includes IRIDESCENCE, Leo Award nominated music video, CATWALK, Crazy8s films SMALL FISH and HATCH and their 4-part documentary series THIS INK RUNS DEEP. The team has always been captivated by the arts in their own different life experiences in advertising, filmmaking, dance and any other sorts of performing arts. The company is openly collaborating with up and coming talents in Vancouver and slowly expanding its network in the Philippines.

PROJECTS SET TO RELEASE

Post-production is currently on-going for these three projects and they are set to be released soon. The ASL Storyhive-funded music video is set to invade the Telus Storyhive channel this coming April 2019. The Crazy8s Film "HATCH" is set to premiere this coming February 23, 2019 at The Centre of Performing Arts; Directed by Heather Perluzzo. Lastly, the recently launched CBC + Creative BC short doc-series is set to be delivered this coming March 2019; Directed by Asia Youngman and was Produced together with Mack Stannard.
NO TURNING BACK: AN ASL MUSIC VIDEO

The Storyhive-funded music video NO TURNING BACK just finished filming last February 2-3, 2019. The music video features a Deaf individual who is having a hard time to come out of the closet. As he enters this 70s disco world, he finally finds someone who understands him that makes it easy for him to find comfort. This music video features Landon Krentz and CL Castillo. Written and Produced by Kent Donguines, Directed by Maxime Beauchamp, Cinematography by Kang Park, Production Design by Fernanda Lopez and Edited by S.J. van Breda. This music video is set to premiere on May 2019 .
THIS INK RUNS DEEP GOES TO PRODUCTION

This Ink Runs Deep, a short documentary series goes to production this coming January 2019. This project is funded by CBC Arts and Creative BC Production Fund. This Ink Runs Deep features indigenous tattoo artists across Canada who are reviving ancestral traditions. Through the film, we learn about the practices that were once thought to be lost, and how they reflect a reawakening of indigenous identity. We will be featuring Dion Kaszas, Greg Williams, Nakkita Trimble and Katia d'Argencourt.
This film will be produced by Kent Donguines and Mack Stannard, to be directed by Asia Youngman and Cinematography by Mitch Baxter. The team is scheduled to go to Haida Gwaii, Terrace and Nova Scotia right after the New Year.
